The story
The origin.
Caratly did not start as a product. It started as a client problem.
Planet Genesis needed a WooCommerce customisation engine that could handle real-time jewellery configuration — metal type, diamond grade, ring size, engraving — with accurate dynamic pricing that updated instantly. No existing plugin did this at the required level.
Kyrex built KJC (Kyrex Jewellery Customizer) for Planet Genesis. It worked. And it became clear that the same unsolved problem existed across thousands of WooCommerce jewellery stores worldwide.
KJC was extracted from the Planet Genesis codebase, rebuilt as a standalone installable WooCommerce plugin, rebranded as Caratly, and launched at caratly.co with its own marketing site, documentation, demo environment, and three pricing tiers.
